I wonder how difficult it would be to build a device şat allows one to plug NEO-GEO joyſticks into a PC Engine ?

Fans reverse engineered Driver 2 and ported it to PC, Linux and even back to PS1, including bug fixes. It's pretty amazing to play the game without extreme slowdown. Link here: https://github.com/OpenDriver2/REDRIVER2 (you need a copy of the original game CD to run it tho).

I wish Saturn/DC Shmups were as cheap as the RPGs. I know why don't need to know English to play a Shmup so more demand.

I feel ſhooters have more replay value too. One may play Panzer Dragoon Saga once a year—or even leſs—but a game like Hyper Duel I could eaſily play once a week or more!

One of the few Stallone movies in the 90s that didn't get to be made into a video game. I wonder why?

Maybe it could have been better than the movie.

I finished Yakuza Isshin over the weekend, it's was the first time I completed a import game entirely in japanese without understanding the story (I can't read japanese go figure) it was a pretty memorable Yakuza game for sure, the sword combat is great, there was a bittersweet side quest that involved child romance of a kid not wanting to see his love interest/friend go, and theres a courtesan minigame where the said person is modeled after former gravure idol "Anna konno"

Virtual on was great. I never seem to find it on anyone's favorite list.

sad day(s) for horny anime weebs, picture shrines has shut down a while ago, it remained up even after the people abandoned the site, but it was also archived. truly a relic of 90s/early 2000s internet.

It always had late eighties bandwidth, so no big loss. It was mostly low-quality screencaps and media images of characters scraped from "SUZUKI ZAMURAI'S HAWT RYOKO PICS SHRINE" or something. Dithering AND JPEG artifacting in one image? Wowsers!

Strange how there are barely enough good Transformers games to count on one hand, considering how well even just season 1 and 2 of G1 would fit into all sorts of action/adventure type games.
    - Where it's always 1995 (or so).

Jimbox is also gone from the internet, he hasn't updated his blog in a year, I agreed with him on many topics he wrote in his blog, (he predicted gaming was no longer worth following during the release of the PS4 - he also dunked on Switch and called Nintendo's franchises "archaic")

^Switch is their best system and mechanically they're more forward-thinking than MS/Sony's first-party IPs(Esp Sony). Switch also has multiple first-party titles selling over 20 million. His takes sound as unoriginal as TA's.

Anyway, I came to shit post.

The Nintendo Switch Sucks And I Hope It Bankrupts The Company
Why the Big N's latest hardware is destined to be a colossal failure ... and why this time, the company may never recover from the financial disaster.
    Why Console Gaming is Dead
The writing is on the wall ... television-based video game units are already an anachronism.
I take it back. He's less creative than even TA and more childish. So it's a good thing the inernet has one less idiot posting the same regurgitated doom takes. With headlines like that, if he ever had an original thought, it would die of loneliness. I'd point out how easily wrong they are but it would be like arguing with a dead man.
