    I played the Time Trial mode for a long time back in the day, shaving off seconds here and there.

    I'll look for my old ram cart and see if it still has my old saves.

    I have both the U.S. and Japanese versions and for some reason I feel like my times are better in the Japanese version. Maybe b/c of the music?

    I'm going to have to fish out my old Sonic CD times. I seem to recall them being quite good.

    If I remember from the speed I went, it was somewhere between 15-18 minutes, but I can't remember....gotta go check, then I'll tell you the exact score.

    Wow, i must have been obsessed back in the day

    My total time is 16:32:70
    Total special zones 1:48:95

    Had to connect the old machine up to check it out.. also got to play it again, yaye..

    How is 16 minutes even possible?!

    I've got roughly 23 minutes myself.

    The YouTube videos I've seen for 19-20 minutes are insane.

    I just can't see 16.5 minutes.

    My total years back was 25:32:31. I thought that time was insane at the time, but I guess not as insane as the rest of you. I doubt I could even get that time or less again... D:

    Well if you're going for total time, in one run...that's pretty alright.

    I've seen 20 minute one runs...but yea, anything like 25 minutes or under is great for a whole game run.
