Actually, for a period of time during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Pittsburgh was legally known as Pittsburg. And since this is a Sportstalk Baseball thread, I'll point out that this just so happens to be the period during which the world's most famous baseball card was printed.

Thanks for "catching" that. I hate making those kinds of "errors".

Huh. That's an interesting bit of trivia.

I really wish they had released a minor update to Sports Talk Baseball in 93' instead of not releasing a baseball game all year. They could have added the MLB lisence to go with the MLBPA lisence they had. Would have been cool to see a few new batting stances and numbers on players backs, as well as some tweaks to throwing and stealing bases. Obviously the uopdated roster would have made it a worthy purchase for alot of people back in the day. Seems like a mist oppertunity by Sega of America who didn't make very many mistakes in the prime Genesis years.
Beat Em Up- Streets of Rage 2
    Platformer- Sonic 3 and Knuckles
    Run and Gun- Gunstar Heroes
    Adventure- Story of Thor
    Action- Shinobi 3

    STRIKE ONE.....Swing and a miss.

I'll never stop hearing that from this game. It was fun, speech was great and clear. I really liked the World Series Baseball II and '98 games WAY more on Sega Saturn though, if you're going to play this today for anything but the nostalgia. Awesome games.
