I must admit, so far I am a happy customer.
Not long after I registered I received an e-mail from Mike. It could have been sent automatically but, soon after I responded he replied with yet another thank you note. Very personal, indeed.
As for the actual auctions in the site, I just bid and won two BRAND NEW/SEALED items:
Mortal Kombat 1/ Sega Genesis - SEALED $9.99
Mortal Kombat 3/ Sega Genesis - SEALED $9.99
Shipping $8.00 in total.
What a great deal this was. So far I'm really happy, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the items come exactly as depicted and described.
P.S.>I'll keep you posted as they arrive.
I'm a customer there, too, and have had nothing but positive results so far. I haven't had to NEG anyone (okay, one, but that got taken care of) and anything I sell has been a good experience, too.
Go Chuckwagon!
-CarlI'm not gonna go get humped by a giant red ape in space.
I wouldn't open them. Get two boxed copies of the game that are used and then keep those ones.
Sega-16's Resident Sports Authority. Chief Heckler of the Midwest.
Next up on the tee:
Tecmo Super Bowl III
Bass Masters Classic
That doesn't look like a factory seal to me, but it's kind of hard to tell from those shots.
I'm not 100% positive about sealed Genesis games, as I only have 1 sealed game in the cardboard box. I'm not at home to look at it, but I believe it should have a nice fold down the center of the box, on the backside.
There's just too many people out there with shrink-wrap machines, so it's buyer beware.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
That was my first impression, too. But I'm glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The double wrapping that overlaps on the backside is actually evidence enough for me, but there are also other aspects to the wrapping itself which also detail it so (e.g. the quality of the plastic, the evenness of the sealing process, etc). Of all my sealed games, these are about the only two I know for certain are factory wrapped.
Hey All,
Sorry for being MIA over here. I just wanted to thank all you Sega-16'ers for registering on the Chuckwagon. It means alot to have quality gamers/collectors on the site. As of this post we are about 10 people shy of 3,000 members. And this comes only a year and 5 months from the day we launched. Pretty incredible we have all built this site into a worthy, albeit small, alternative to Ebay for gamers.
And we have grown to almost 7,000 running auctions this week and that is great to see the # of auctions growing approching 10,000. Let's keep it going![]()

^Congrats.
I have a question:
Once you have your final search page with all the items available, how can you re-organize the selction by price (low-to-high)? My only options are Ending, New Items and Title.
Not sure exactly what you are asking. Have you clicked on Advanced Search yet. There are other options there for fine tuning your search.
Let me know if that answers your question
Also, check out a new weekly Youtube vid showcasing some interesting things up for auction on the site:

I'm both a buyer and a seller on CTCW. Nothing but positive experiences.
There's a significant amount of traffic on the site. I always try selling there first. No risk, free to list and you can offer lower prices because of lower fees.

Yup. That answers it. Thanks. Love the site.![]()
