Magical Hats has different level layouts and music as well. Some of the levels are similar. It follows the same formula (for example, you ascend in level 1-2 on both games). Magical Hats has music that sounds like Whip Rush (but not as good). Decapattack starring Chuck D. Head has original music that should have won a Grammy. Neither of these games are related to Magical Tutiutto-Kan or whatever the crap this game is called.

It was also published by Sega, not Bandai.

Game Freak designed Jerry Boy, but System Sacom did the bulk of the work.

Is "Jerry Boy" some crazy Engrish? Shouldn't it have been Jelly Boy?

Trouble Shooter's drums are too damn loud. And yes, DecapAttack starring Chuck D. Head was made by the people who love you at Vic Tokai.

    Such a harsh review...

An easy 7 (maybe 8), for sure.
4? What was going on when you wrote this review?

Just ordered this one off of eBay for 20 bucks, hopefully I enjoy it more than Melf did! I tried it out in Kega Fusion and I must say, it looks fantastic. And it's got the cutest "Seeeeh-gaaaah!" chant I've ever heard.

Alright so I've had my copy for a little while now and I just sat down for a serious play session with it. I haven't beaten it yet, but I really feel like Melf's review was unnecessarily harsh on this game. And the cloud level isn't really that difficult, I only lost one continue there.

Really loved the stage 3 boss. Sure, he's easy, but damn he looks awesome!
