Just submitted Hands-On: Streets of Rage 4.
It's been a while since I contributed to Sega-16 on a regular basis, so I decided to do some catch-up. I'Ve submitted 9 reviews for 5 different platforms, so expect the following from me:
Master System: Spy vs Spy
Mega Drive: Yu Yu Hakusho - Makyo Toitsusen
Mega CD: Syndicate
Saturn: Enemy Zero, House of the Dead, Magic Knight Rayearth, Parodius, Three Dirty Dwarves
Dreamcast: Gunlord (yeah I know, this one came out after its official shelf life, but considering that it found its way to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch last year I still felt it appropriate).
I'll probably be unable to keep up the pace, but this should do for a bit.![]()
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?
Claiming Panzer Dragoon Saga and Sonic R reviews. Looking forward to reviewing these two.
Working on a Master System review next: The Lucky Dime Caper starring Donald Duck.

Hi!
I noticed that the Starblade review is not there anymore.
Please, if it's one of those that were pulled due to author's request (this a question for Melf), I'd love to submit my review for the game.
I've played it a lot due to goldenband's thread and there's a lot about it that needs to be said and shared with the world.
I ended up collecting a lot of information on its gameplay, region differences and difficulty progression that isn't available anywhere else.
Also, please, which e-mail or link should I use to submit my review?
That sounds awesome -- with your expertise I'm sure it'll be terrific! Great to know its differences and strengths will be documented.
Yeah, Starblade was one of the reviews that got pulled by that one author -- Robo Aleste was the other Sega CD review that was affected. (And Gain Ground, Shining Force, Twinkle Tale, and Yu Yu Hakusho: Makyo Toitsusen were the MD games affected.)
I submitted my review via the WordPress dashboard and sent Melf a PM as well (I think).
Thanks for the info.
So I'll proceed with the review then.
Somebody submitted reviews and later asked for them all to be taken down?
Judging by his Starblade review, it was for the better.
haha.
In the meantime, could you post here Starblade regional differences, or in that one post which tried to summarize them? I can easily wait for the review to be published, though. Thanks.
