Default What could I use for grounds with USB ports?

Here's the problem: Both my USB ports on my laptop don't have the ground pieces because they shorted out. I wonder if I could harvest the ground from my PS2 USB ports and somehow integrate them into my bad USB ports.

The outer edge is ground, and one of the side most pins is ground in USB... since you would need soldering (if I understood your problem), fixing the laptop is nothing big, maybe a wire or two... however, laptops are damn tiny, even I would be a bit scared to solder something in one
