Default Tom & Jerry: Frantic Antics

The cartoon duo duke it out, 16-bit style! How was it? Read the review to see!

The manual that came with my game is all black and white (front/back cover included), does anyone know if this is original? Because some of my other Genesis games (I have mostly Mega Drive) like Gargoyles and Goofy have manuals with front/back cover in color. Thanks in advance.

You have the cardboard box version. Some games were rereleased and a black-and-white paper manual was part of the new crummy cardboard packaging. Frantic Antics received a clamshell release with a color manual, and you'll find that it's fairly common on-line.

Checked out the review page. First scrolled right down & checked out the pics in minimized form under review. Then scrolled back up & checked out the developer. Beam Software. Then scrolled back down again & opened out the first screenshot. Low+resolution. Closed entire page. Mind of quality made up before even reading review or seeing what the final score is.

Will still read review and try it out one day when I actually have time. Until then this will do.

Thanks for the info. Got a clamshell version of the game and bought a loose manual later. So I have a manual that's supposed to go with the cardboard version. Somehow that bothers me

Earlier, I said that Terminator 2: Judgement Day was the nadir of the games I played on the MD, including Dark Castle. Well, here's the close second, also underneath the throw-stones-at-bats epic from EA: ugly, boring (even Tom and Jerry themselves have poker faces) and remarkably awful. At least it's more playable than T2. A lil' bit, but it is (OK, Dark Castle plays even worse, but at least it made me laugh).
