A major part of my childhood, along with a few other choice games.
I found it to be pretty good, sure, the graphics are a bit bland, but I've seen worse Mega Drive games, animation wasn't very smooth though. =p

On-topic, GA was one of the most important first-gen Genesis games and (I assume) did a lot to appeal to fans of the coin-op (which supposedly was one of the most popular arcade games of 1989) and arcade fans in general.
