    Sweat WWF Raw (32X)

We here at Sega-16 are hoping everyone had a happy holidays, and we've put down the egg nog long enough to update one last time this week with a review of WWF Raw for the 32X. Is it better than the cartridge version? Could it be the best wrestling game on the Genesis? Do you really think any Acclaim wrestling game is good? We've gome insight on the first two questions in our full review. As for the third... well, we won't belabor the obvious.

Good review, though i don't understand why ECW had to be mentioned,
its just a brand name these days, owned by the WWE.

unlike the original company, which was awesome.

While the 32X WWF RAW may be the best version of the game, and may feature the most refined version of the old 16-Bit WWF games engine........it still isn't saying much. I did enjoy the 32X version's cleaner intro and wrestler pics as well as the new menu, and the music did take advantage of the 32X's sound hardware, blowing away the music from the Genesis & SNES versions.

But yeah, Wrestlemania: TAG is the better of the two WWF games on 32X. Hell, it's the best WWF game on the 16-Bit consoles period..........unless you owned a SNES, because it's version of Wrestlemania Arcade was the WORST out of them all (it was missing Bam Bam Bigelow & Yokozuna, reducing the roster from 8 to 6, and only allowed three wrestlers on-screen at once with tons of slowdown).

IIRC The Mame/Arcade Wrestling Games were:

    WWF: Superstars & Wrestlefest.

    Both were excellent.

You being Dutch has nothing to do with it, you just need to learn proper English Grammar and punctuation.

    Its not that hard.

    Quick question about this:

Graphically, what is the 32x handling and what is the Genesis handling during normal gameplay? Is it like other quick 32x ports that have the Genesis outputting the entire background & HUD while the 32x only handling the character sprites?

This game was never released on a disc. I'm sure every port was a cartridge version.

Keep crunching the numbers and eventually you'll figure out which version is a CD game.
