Default How did you find this site (Sega-16) and why?

I think i was searching for a specific Saturn game information on google and ran across this site.

And I use this site to give me new ideas for great games that I just never knew existed. If I see someone talkin about a game I've never heard of before, I'll look into it and try to find it. It's kind of a hobby.... Finding buried sega treasures!

I haven't a frickin' clue how I ever managed to end up here. Probably through the usual Google search gone horribly wrong.

I typed sega-16.com into my address bar my mistake. I love this site though, and its the only forum I even mess with anymore. All the other ones I see tend to be barren wastelands where coherent thoughts and rationality were thrown out the window years ago.

I was reading the reviews for a while and finally decided to just join the forum. I wasn't doing anything anyway except researching other video game stuff so I said....what the heck!

Every time I looked up ANYTHING about Genesis modding, rare games, etc, this site would pop up. After reading about Bratwursts reproductions, I decided to make an account to contact him, and being fairly into Genesis collecting, hardware, etc, decided to stick around.

    And it hasn't dissapointed yet.

I don't really remember exactly how I found it, but it was inevitable. Joined up immediately and then conquered!

I don't remember how, but the Mega Drive is my favourite console and I love the internet, I was destined to come here sooner or later.

I found the article about Luna Video Games as I recall. I was in San Diego trying to find old games.

I had gotten my hands on a Nomad and wanted to get some info and some decent games for it. Went looking and came across this site.

    Thumbs up

I think Mark from Classic Game Room HD suggested it in one of his videos. But it turns out I'd been reading features and reviews from sega-16 long before that. I guess Mark is the one who ultimately pushed me to join.

...Also, I got sick and tired of CheapAssGamers.com. The place is run like a year-old mall with a movie theater; where the average moviegoer is 12-15 years old and arrives in swarms, leaving you feeling like you've aged a decade in just the last month (no offense intended to those here at sega-16 of the same age). My point is that at CAG even people of my generation, or beyond, tend to have no appreciation for the games that came before. Few there care about retro gaming, and those few care little about the Sega Genesis.
