Burning Fists

Sometimes, games get canceled for a reason, and Burning Fists is a prime example. Even finished, it would have been a less than mediocre fighter, but in its semi-beta state, its almost too poor to warrant playing. Unless you just have to have every Sega CD game and don’t mind playing what is essentially a late beta, stay away!

Marko CD

Let me see if I’ve got this right. Marko’s Magic Football was originally released in Europe on the Mega Drive, Mega CD, and Game Gear, and all made it across the pond to the U.S. except for the CD port. Eventually, the Sega CD version finally saw distribution in 2003 by Good Deal Games, which undoubtedly made all those who bought the incredibly expensive European original very unhappy. Citizen X

We’ve another Sega CD review coming at ya, this time for Digital Pictures’ Citizen X. Never released for the Sega CD, it was recently finished and published by Good Deal Games. Think about this: an actual Digital Pictures game that isn’t entirely full motion video. Yep, I mean there’s actual gameplay in this one! No wonder DP didn’t want it made public!

Star Strike

Seven years ago, Good Deal Games published Star Strike, an unfinished FMV game that was slated to be forgotten by time. After some work and publishing, the Sega CD had yet another posthumous addition to its library. Is it really worth tracking down though? Some say that any dead FMV game is a good one, but you just might be surprised here.
