Streets of Rage

Axel, Blaze, and Adam are three bad ass ex-cops who are taking it to the streets so they can make an attempt to clean the city up of all the smelly, good for nothing punks that are polluting the area. A madman named Mr. X is at the head of all this troublesome turmoil in the big city, and he is also the trio’s main nemesis. But to get to Mr. X, the bold threesome must first make it through stages consisting of seemingly endless streets, towering elevators, a beach that never sleeps, and a few other not so welcoming places.

Splatterhouse 3

Arising from the mediocrity that was Splatterhouse 2 came a sequel with that packed a little more punch and bled a little more blood. Namco picked up the rusty and cranky gameplay and polished it up a lot, creating not only the best in the series but also a great beat-em-up that was absolutely crammed to the fullest with challenge, a ton of unforgettable action, and most importantly a pile of unnecessary violence and gore.

Double Dragon

Technos launched a genre into stardom and created a massive franchise with Double Dragon, and the game has been made available for just about every console ever made. The Genesis version should have been arcade perfect, but somehow, Technos managed to screw it up. While not unplayable, it’s a far cry from what it should have been.
