Mega Man: The Wily Wars
You’d think that with the amount of fame Mega Man enjoyed during the 8-bit era, the dude would get his shot on the Genesis once Capcom openly supported the platform. In a sense, he did…just not in America. While PAL and Japanese Mega Drive gamers enjoyed a great compilation of the first three games called Mega Man: The Wily Wars, U.S. fans were left in the cold.
Punisher
The Punisher was a decent arcade brawler that made the jump to the Genesis mostly intact. Whether it’s alone or with a friend, there’s some classic Capcom beat-’em-up action to be had here, so read and see if this one is worth the high asking price.
Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition
Genesis owners’ patience was rewarded with the Special Champion Edition, basically a port of the SNES’ Street Fighter II Turbo with some Genesis-exclusive features. While it wasn’t the killing Genesis players envisioned, it still did an excellent job bringing street fighting action to the ol’ black box.
