Electronic Arts thought to compete with Golden Axe by releasing a slasher of its own. However noble the company’s intentions, however, the game it backed fell well short of the mark, and Sword of Sodan is forever associated with the worst in the genre.
Faery Tale Adventure in my opinion was a very good game; not as good as the Phantasy Star series or a lot of other Genesis RPG’s, but still capable of providing hours of challenge and exploration.
Gamers get to bust ghosts a lot, but few ever get to play the ghosts themselves. EA’s Haunting gives them the chance to scare the heck out of the living for once.
