TMNT: Tournament Fighters

Tournament Fighters has EVERYTHING the SNES version is missing except for the gameplay, and that’s a big ”except.” I loved that Konami always made each version of a game completely different, like with TMNT: TF, Sparkster and Contra. Still, this game is definitely worth buying if only for the music!

Castlevania Bloodlines

Finally, could it really be a Castlevania game for the Genesis? After years of turning a deaf ear to anything Sega, Konami finally hears the cries from fans and delivers a title to the 16-bit wonder. What’s even more amazing is that it isn’t a port of any of the NES or SNES games; it’s an original chapter in the Castlevania mythos. But is it any good?

Lethal Enforcers (CD)

Lethal Enforcers is one of the finest shooting games ever made. It’s the predecessor to games like Virtua Cop, Time Crisis, and House of the Dead, without it, these games simply would not exist. The game is simply spectacular; the graphics are stunning, and the sound is amazing.

Rocket Knight Adventures

As platformers go, RKA stands tall among the crowd; looking down on most. That’s no mean feat considering the level of quality the Genesis has in this department. Many people made the mistake, however, of casually dismissing the game as another Sonic clone. They could not have been farther from the truth.
