It may not be a major step forward, but it brings creepy and fun exploration just in time for Halloween! Sasha Darko returns with the second entry in the Sacred Line series, and it’s a step up from the original. Sacred Line II brings creepy visual horror to the Genesis in a much larger fashion than the original game, and it’s definitely a title worth playing during the Halloween season.
Horror-themed graphic adventures aren’t common at all on the Genesis, and Sasha Darko fills the gap with Sacred Line. It’s not perfect, but as a first effort from a one-man studio, it shows great potential. If you can get past its shortcomings, Sacred Line can offer an afternoon of horror and suspense that’s not for the faint of heart.
