With all the accessories and peripherals available for the Genesis, you’d think you’d seen it all. Not true, my friend! The good people at Tototek have recently released the latest generation of their famous carts, and the new Mega Cart goes far beyond just playing flashed ROMs. Everything from saving CD game saves to playing imports can all be done with one handy cartridge.
The Genesis launch had a pretty good line up of games that tried to cover as wide a range of genres as possible. Zoom! made a valiant attempt to fill the maze game niche, and while it demonstrated some serious potential, it was ultimately undone by repetitive gameplay and extreme simplicity.

What makes it so special is a hilarious mistranslation in the opening of the PAL version. Toaplan’s “All your base” line will live in infamy for sure, but how does the game itself stand up?

The Swedish Ice Hockey Association has a long and storied history of delivering the best of the sport to European fans, and this did not go unnoticed by game publishers. Electronic Arts, for one, published a modified version of its NHL ’96 with Swedish teams and players. How did it compare to the U.S. version?
