ZPF is a game that fans of the genre are sure to love, and a few minor issues aren’t enough to keep it from blowing up your console with wonderful twitchy action and a rockin’ soundtrack.

Shellshock may not be groundbreaking, but its simple and entertaining gameplay offers a decent burst of enjoyment for those willing to stick around long enough. It’s a flawed but enjoyable shooter that stands apart from more serious simulation games just enough to make it stand out. Though considered primitive by today’s standards, Monaco GP was a revolutionary title for its time. The SG-1000 port lacks much of the visual flair that made the arcade cabinet version so special, but the gameplay and soul are still there.
