As August fades and everyone ends vacation time or gears up for new semesters of high school and college, let us take one last look back at those carefree days and bid them a fond farewell. Koei was the master of the console strategy sim, and there’s one game in its catalog that actually lets players relive the American Revolution. Deep and engaging, the game also requires almost as much time as the war itself did, so those easily intimidated by tons of variables and long, drawn-out conflicts should perhaps just declare themselves conscientious objectors instead.
