mr. Bones

Blending platform action with the undead and a rockin’ soundtrack might not sound like the kind of things games are made of, but mr. Bones gave it one hell of a try. It’s not a game for everyone, to be sure. Stick with it a while though, and you just might find a decent title for your Saturn.

Enemy Zero

Warp’s ambitious, sci-fi survival horror romp was unique on the Saturn but it was also not very exciting. Repetitive environments, vague objectives, and uninspired puzzles take away from the amazing ambiance. Still, you might want to check out Enemy Zero just to experience the tension and fear for yourself.

Three Dirty Dwarves

The heroes of SegaSoft’s beat-’em-up were nothing like the dwarves you grew up with! Greg, Taconic, and Corthag starred in a wacky brawler that gave Saturn owners a different take on an established genre. Its quirkiness didn’t always make for a smooth ride, but the good far outweighs the bad.

Virtua Cop 2 (Saturn)

Sega set a new benchmark for light gun games in 1995 with Virtua Cop 2. Improving on almost everything that made the original game so great, the sequel came locked and loaded to the Saturn, giving players one of the signature titles in the genre. If you own a Saturn, this one needs to be on your shelf.
