Wolfchild (CD)

Ever wish you could turn into some big monster and just rip through the people that make you angry? Ever just want to howl at the moon and crave bacon? Er.. wait, scratch that last part. Either way, everyone’s had times when they just wanted to let out the beast inside and go off on their enemies. Well, now you can live vicariously through our full review of Wolfchild for the Sega CD, a half-baked port with an animated intro and redbook tunes. Take advantage of this great opportunity folks. Star Wars: Rebel Assault

Star Wars fans rejoiced when LucasArts released Rebel Assault for PC CD-ROM in 1993. It featured the first new footage filmed since Return of the Jedi, a decade before, and it was the game everyone seemingly had been waiting for. Eventually ported to Mac and the 3DO, the game eventually made its way to the Sega CD. Since Rebel Assault was a game that pushed PCs of the time to the limit, you can imagine how the port turned out.

We’re back with another review, this time for the Sega CD action/RPG Heimdall. Ported from the popular computer formats of the time, Heimdall struggled to adapt to a controller-based gameplay scheme.
