Sega’s Toshokan modem service in Japan had a few titles that were released here, such as Flicky and Fatal Labyrinth. However, there were quite a few that never came to the west, and 16t is one such title. It has that early ’80s arcade flavor to it, and while there’s not much depth, its simple to play and can be fun for a while.

Home Alone 2
Kevin’s back for another round against the Wet Bandits! Unfortunately, it’s the player who ends up all wet with this game. Unlike the first Home Alone, which was engaging and fun, the sequel is just a poor-playing exercise in frustration. Maybe next time they should just leave Kevin home for good.

Are you really excited for the 2014 World Cup? Well, the action doesn’t end when the last game is over! Why not check out Marko’s Magic Football, a decent little platformer by Domark. Who doesn’t want to use a magic soccer ball to kill bad guys? And you get to recycle, too! What more could you ask for? Turn off ESPN and play some Genesis!
Sylvester & Tweety in Cagey Capers
Looney Tunes games are multiple on the Genesis, and to their credit, they’ve tried to do more than just be Sonic clones with a cool license. This experimentation often resulted in titles that were a bit off the beaten path and too quirky for some gamers. Sylvester and Tweety’s only Genesis outing went overlooked by many and deserves at least a cursory playthrough.
A Dinosaur’s Tale
Dinosaurs are supposed to be cool, right? Most games that have them are, but there are a few that remind us why the terrible lizards became extinct. Fucom’s take on the popular children’s movie was an effort to cash in on a license, but it never quite figured out what it wanted to be, and all it ended up doing was making dinosaurs unattractive.
