Sunset Riders is the port of a 1991 Konami arcade game of the same name. It sports two different cowboys to choose from, each with their own advantages and disadvantages, 8 levels of frantic gunning, and three levels of difficulty. Sounds pretty good, eh? And it is…mostly.

Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles
There is no denying it, considering the time and the limitations of the hardware, Doom Troopers is a pretty gory game. However, unlike the unutterably lame Splatterhouse series, this game uses its goriness to simple effect. It livens up and gives some character and humour to what is otherwise a fairly standard side scrolling platform/adventure game.
Gunstar Heroes
If there’s one thing clearly understood about owning a Sega Genesis, it’s that Gunstar Heroes must be a part of your library. Say what you will about Treasure and how they’re overrated, untalented, etc; but you cannot deny that this is easily their finest hour on the system and arguably their best game overall.
