SegaSonic The Hedgehog

SegaSonic The Hedgehog was one of the few games in the franchise to not see a home release, due to its trackball control scheme. Thankfully, it can still be played via emulation in MAME. It may be short, but it’s a fun three-player romp that was great to play with friends. Staff writer Doug Jackson spent some time with it, so read on for his impressions!

Master System Reviews

Master of Darkness

The classic Castlevania series was the envy of Master System owners everywhere for many years, until Master of Darkness was released in 1992. An excellent game that sported great presentation and gameplay, it never came to the U.S. on the console, but import versions are thankfully inexpensive. This is one to own!

Genesis Reviews

Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends

The popular kids show chugs its way onto the Genesis, and it’s definitely a title made specifically for its demographic. Adults might not find a lot to spend time with here, and honestly, their kids won’t find much to do after spending some time with it. Short and simple, Thomas just runs out of steam too quickly.
