June 19, 2005 marked the fourteenth birthday of that mascot of mascots, Sonic The Hedgehog. Sega-16 kicked off a week-long celebration of everything hedgehog with some great content for your enjoyment, including a new “History of” article and a “Sega Stars” feature on Yuji Naka. Fans of Take Two’s Major League Baseball 2K5 may or may not remember that the series has its roots in BlueSky Software’s incredible World Series Baseball franchise, which had several installments on the Genesis before reaching the pinnacle of perfection with World Series Baseball ’98 on the Saturn.
