Sonic had several outings on the Master System, some good and some bad. Sonic Chaos falls somewhere in the middle. Feeling more like basic training than a challenge, the game never really seems to get going. The result will leave many wanting more.

Castle of Illusion and QuackShot are revered by Genesis owners as two of the best platformers of the 16-bit era. European gamers were lucky to get a collection of both these great games, and it might be an option for those looking to skip high prices.
Incredible Crash Dummies, The
The Incredible Crash Dummies somehow got a toy line and a cartoon show, so of course there had to be a video game tie-in. It’s short and saddled with poor control, not offering much for its license. Though not the worst platforming experience out there, your time would be better spent with any of the better Genesis offerings in the category.
Sonic Adventure
After an absence on the Saturn, Sonic returned on the Dreamcast with a new platform adventure. It was hailed and welcomed by many at the time, but the Blue Blur still had a lot of adjusting to do in the third dimension. A disjointed plot and a problematic camera keep Sonic’s first proper 3D outing from being a true classic.
mr. Bones
Blending platform action with the undead and a rockin’ soundtrack might not sound like the kind of things games are made of, but mr. Bones gave it one hell of a try. It’s not a game for everyone, to be sure. Stick with it a while though, and you just might find a decent title for your Saturn.
