The Star Wars saga explodes onto the Game Gear! Combining platforming action with vehicle stages, the game offers a decent reproduction of the movie. It’s not a perfect game, but the good seems to outweigh the bad, making it a decent addition to any Game Gear owner’s library.

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (Game Gear)
Mickey Mouse debuted on the Game Gear in spectacular fashion, as Sega’s Castle of Illusion gave the machine a stellar platformer at launch. It also marked the start of a great handheld franchise that sparked two sequels. The original is still a great game to play and one that should be in every Game Gear owner’s library.
Fire & Ice
Platformers were all the rage during the early ’90s, and in some places, the Master System was still getting new releases. Tec Toy’s version of Fire & Ice tried to give the machine some new blood, but it the gameplay left more people cold than hot. Still, it’s not a bad game and one worth checking out if you’re a fan of Master System imports.
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World
Sega’s early mascot returns for his final Master System outing, released a year after his Genesis debut (and finale). A funny spoof on another Sega franchise, Shinobi World is still a fun game to play. It’s a bit on the easy side, but it’s worth checking out… if you’re willing to pay the prices it goes for nowadays.
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (Master System)
Mickey’s first outing on the Master System was different than the Genesis game but just as good. Great visuals and solid gameplay make for a wonderful Disney adventure that anyone with a Master System should have in their library. Fans of the Genesis version should check it out to see a whole different adventure than the one they’re used to.
